Ashley Wang is a Taiwanese-American cellist, teacher, and active performer. She strongly believes in encouraging her students to become the best they can be in a healthy and productive learning environment. Ashley brings years of teaching experience, working with students age 3 to adults and instructing individuals from beginners to collegiate levels. Her lessons cover injury prevention and guiding students towards the best posture and technique catered for each student. Ashley has completed training in Suzuki Cello books 1-5 with Dr. Alice Ann O’Neill, Dr. Andrea Yun, Dr. Shu-Yi Scott, and Abbey Hansen.
Earning a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas at Austin under the guidance of Professor Bion Tsang, she spent three years on the faculty at UT teaching in the pre-college music program, UT String Project. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Music degree in Cello Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Houston, while serving as the Graduate Teaching Assistant for Dr. Eunghee Cho's studio. She joined the Paganini School of Music in 2024.
