I began violin when I was 4 as a Suzuki student, later switching to cello, and eventually pursuing a bachelor's and master's in cello performance at the Peabody Conservatory. I taught cello and orchestra for many years in the USA and internationally, but growing the business and raising twins made it challenging to do both and I decided to take pause from teaching until the children got a bit older. Then, in 2019, we added the music education component to Sam's Strings Violin Shop via the Paganini School of Music!

We are dedicated to providing young musicians the opportunity to reach their goals and potential through access to experienced and dedicated teachers. We offer private and group classes that expand their repertoire and instill confidence as well as provide masterclasses with regionally and nationally known artists. In addition, we hope that our classes will reinforce and further strengthen the excellent public-school programs in our area.
