Marina Burguete i Diago is a cellist and educator originally from Spain. Upon her arrival in the United States, Marina began regularly playing with a number of regional orchestras, including
Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, Panama City Symphony Orchestra, Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra and Mobile Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to performing, Marina is a passionate music educator with years of experience teaching students of all ages, from kindergarten through adult levels. Prior to joining the Paganini School of Music, she taught at the Centro Instructivo de arte y cultura de La Valld'Uixó in Spain, Southeastern Community Music School and Thomasville Academy of the Arts in Florida.
Marina holds a Master’s degree in Cello Performance from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance with a minor in Spanish Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Cello Performance from the University of Houston.
